Pick ‘Em fantasy tournaments work differently than the traditional salary cap style games you may be familiar with if you have only played on FanDuel or DraftKings.
Draft Street explains it:
Choose 8 players from 8 tiers. Win $10,000.
Pretty compelling. The direct entry is $22 although there are $2 and $5 qualifiers running. Here is how they work.
How Pick ‘Em Fantasy Games Work
Find a tournament you want and double click it.
Here is how it works. You have to pick 1 player out of a choice of players from 8 different tiers. The first tier starts with 3 players to choose from and the number of players in each tier is 3 or more, with the 8th tier having 8 players to choose from.
If it sounds complicated, it’s not at all. You have 8 positions on your roster to fill and you have to choose from a multiple choice series of players. Your competitors pick from those same tiers and whomever picks the team that scores the most points wins.
DraftStreet is having a 40k Friday Pick ‘Em contest for NBA. We’ve noticed it one week so far and assuming it is a success they will most likely offer them again.
