FanDuel Launch World Fantasy Football Championships
Over $10 million to be won on the NFL at FanDuel
FanDuel have kicked off the NFL season by launching their World Fantasy Football Championships (WFFC). The WFFC features four events and all come to a climax in Las Vegas on December 14th. The headline event, the FanDuel Fantasy Football Championship, will see two players become millionaires for the first time, the winner taking home an amazing $2 million and the runner up claiming a prize of $1 million. The three events that go alongside the main event are the $300,000, $200,000 and the $100,000 survivor tournaments.

Qualify for as little as $10 at FanDuel and win millions.
There are one hundred places up for grabs in this record breaking event. Unlike some other big money tournaments, you’ll not be able to buy-in directly; the only seats available are gained by coming through a qualifying tournament.
You can enter a qualifier for $10, $25, $200 or $1,065. The $10 entry will offer two places at the main event, the others offering just one seat – although the lower the buy-in, the more players you’ll be competing against. The final chance to qualify will be in week thirteen – the Super Qualifier.
Having secured a place in the main event, you’ll be in for a treat. You’ll be flown to Las Vegas and picked up by a Limo and driven to the Cosmopolitan Hotel, where you’ll spend three nights and have entry for two to each of the three parties hosted by FanDuel. What is the worst case scenario? You’ll pick up $15,000 even if you finish last. Here is a run-down of the top ten prizes.

4th $300,000
5th $200,000
6th and 7th $150,000
8th – 10th $100,000
The $300k Survivor
For $200 you can enter the $300k survivor and be one of the 1,729 entries. Simply finish in the top 75% every week and you’ll progress. After six weeks you’ll be in the top 250 and have already secured a payout of $500. Five players will make it to the grand final and will be treated to the same VIP treatment as the one hundred main event qualifiers. The winner of the event will pocket a check to the value of $40,000. Round one starts on September 21st (week three of the NFL season).
The $200k Survivor
For $25 you can enter the $200k survivor event. This will see you line up with 9,694 other players all aiming for the first prize of $20,000. Once again you’ll need to finish in the top 75% each week to move onto the next stage. The final 1,200 will all pick up a minimum of $55 with the final five all taking their place in Vegas. Round one takes place on September 21st.
The $100k Survivor
This is the tournament for everyone – with just a $5 entry fee. To make it to Vegas in this tournament you’ll have to finish in the top five of 25,488 entries. If you don’t make it to Vegas, you might be one of the 3,000 players in the money, with $15 guaranteed for 3000th and $750 if you finish on the wrong side of the Vegas bubble. The winner of this event will take home a cool $10,000.
NFL at FanDuel – One Week Leagues
These season long events aren’t the only ones you’ll be able to play at FanDuel.
How about the NFL Sunday Million where for $25 you’ll be able to claim a first prize of $100,000 or be one of the 8,000 players in the money each week.
How about the NFL Monster? For $200 you are competing for a $1.2 million prize pool, with $120,000 for the winner with 1,230 players picking up at least $500.
